How do we exchange links?

We use a simple 3 step process to exchange links with our installed base and this process starts once we send out the link request.

Here are the steps in order:

  • Respond – Receiving Link Request needs to agree to link trade
  • Add Link – Requesting Link Trade is required to add and then verify link on their link page
  • Add Link – Receiving Link Trade is required to add and verify link on their link page

 

At this point the link exchange is complete.

Do link requests expire?

Yes they do. All requests have a time limit set or it request expires. Remember link building is a favor given to you. There are no guarantees that the link will remain.

  • On Step 1 – After 30 Days, it’s an unsuccessful link exchange (they do not want to link).
  • On Step 2 – After 30 Days, if you don’t respond with a link, their link will be deleted.
  • On Step 3 – After 30 Days, the link is automatically tested, if either of the links are missing, it is flagged as a Broken Link Trade and an email warning is sent out.
  • After 30 days, the link is tested again, if the link is still broken, then the link information is removed and considered an unsuccessful link exchange.
  • Any un-answered Link Trade will be deleted after 6 Months
